Mini Haul Review! Highlighter, Bronzer, and Brushes Oh My!

Hey everyone! So I was not even planning on doing a post today but I stopped by a Super Target today and they finally had the highlighter and bronzer I have been itching to take home and I wanted to write about it when I opened up these pretty little packages.

So today I picked up a highlighter that has been getting a lot of buzz. The highlighter is from Pixi by Petra and it is in collaboration with Aspyn Ovard. I got the color Santorni Sunset. 2

I was in Sephora the other day and I was swatching the beloved and glorious Becca Champaign Pop Highlighter and I was so tempted to get it. But then my wallet was like “Paige, no”…..Anyway, out of all the highlighters I swatched in Sephora, Becca’s was the brightest/creamiest of them all. BUT FEAR NOT because I can honestly say that I believe Pixi’s highlighter would make an excellent dupe for the Becca Champagne Pop Highlighter, they feel practically the same, and you save a total of $22…You save more than you pay for the dupe! How cool is that?

Becca Champagne Highlighter: $38

Pixi Glow-y Powder Highlighter: $16

I would highly recommend this highlighter and I love that it has a somewhat creamy texture to it and not a super dry and powdery finish.  A little goes a long way which I love. I am looking forward to blinding everyone with this highlighter.

The next thing I got was a bronzer which also has a lot of buzz about it. The bronzer is from Physician’s Formula in Butter Bronzer and I believe the color is just called: Bronzer. 3First of all it smells amazing. It smells kind of like a banana-coconuty tropical beach drink and I am From now on doing my makeup, I will smell this every time. This texture also has a nice feel to it, it is creamy and has skin loving ingredients meant to moisturize the skin. It does not have any shimmer to it which I actually really like. It also doesn’t have a huge amount of orange undertones so I would feel comfortable using it for contour and let me tell you, I have a really hard time finding a bronzer that I fully like, so this may turn out to be my ride or die bronzer, time will tell.

Price: $14

And last but not least brushes! The brushes I use for eye shadows are fine but they are starting to wear out a little so it was time to get a little update.

The brushes I got are from EcoTools! I always see these little sets at Target/Ulta and I was always curious about them.

What I love about these brushes is you technically get 4 brushes for $6. They feel very nice; not too dense, not too flimsy. I think they will make a nice addition to my collection. I played with them just a little bit and they picked up color nice and blended beautifully as well!

I can say I am satisfied with every product I got for this haul. Not every time is every product something I am totally in love with so this was a success and I would definitely recommend all of these products to you 🙂

Until next time! Cheers!
