So this is my first official makeup look post! I am so excited to share this look with you. I always have fun doing dramatic looks that I probably would not step out of the house for unless I was going for a very specific event. Today’s look was inspired by a designer gown by Christian Dior. Designer gowns are out of this world and are a huge inspiration for me and I will be doing a series of looks inspired by all types of different designer gowns in the future.
Isn’t this gown beautiful??? She’s practically wearing a starry sky and I am in love.
*Bare Minerals Bare Pro Foundation in: Light Natural 09.
*NYX Glitter Primer (I actually use this for my eye primer as well because a lot of eye primers irritate my eyes but for some reason this does not).
*ELF Cosmetics Baked Highlighter in: Moonlight Pearls (Used both for highlight and a lighter color on my eyes before applying the darker colors so they would not appear muddy).
*ELF Cosmetics Shimmering Facial Whip in: Lilac Petal.
*NYX Prismatic Pro Shadows: Lighter green is: Mermaid, Dark Teal is: Savage, and Royal Blue is: Blue Jeans (and that is the order i applied the eye shadows).
*NYX Crystal Liner in: Crystal Pewter (something I saw on the bottle today I did not notice before, it said it was not for the eyes…..I am going to have to look into that, because it is a liner? where else would you put that? lol…)
*Maybelline Eyestudio Gel Liner in: Blackest Black.
*Loreal Paris Voluminious Carbon Black Mascara.
*Ardell Lashes in: Demi Wispies.
*Lips: 1.) NYX Liquid Suede Cream Lipstick in: Stone Fox.
2.) Beauty Treats Glitter Lash Mascara in: Blue.
3.) And again, the NYX Crystal Liner in: Crystal Pewter (I guess you can put it other places than the eye, there ya go ).
*Last but not least: Setting Powder: ELF Cosmetics: High Definition Powder in: Sheer.
Aaaand that last picture makes me realize I need to give myself a facial. I love using my camera for makeup close-ups, but that also means you can see everything on my skin as well. haha!
Let me know if you have any questions about the products used. This was fun! Until next time, cheers!
